Cryptoclidus

This is Cryptoclidus, which means "hidden collar-bone." Cryptoclidus is an aquatic reptile, not actually a dinosaur at all but a plesiosaur. It was about 13 feet long. It had flippers for feet and in its wide skull were about 100 or so curved, interlocking teeth
Cryptoclidus was named by Seeley in 1892. The type species is C. eurymerus.
Cryptoclidus lived during the late Jurassic period.
It is believed that Cryptoclidus ate aquatic creatures such as small fish, squid, and crustaceans.
Fossils have been found in England, France, and possibly South America.
